The Opportunity

To support and lead GOJA through our next phase of accelerated growth, we are looking for a Director of FP&A to lead corporate financial planning and analysis, and treasury activities across the company. Leading the Corporate FP&A and treasury team, the Director of FP&A will manage the team for growth but also be very hands-on as they partner with our CFO and Director of Finance for Brands to drive key corporate projects and planning. This is a highly cross functional role responsible for working across teams, brands, and leadership to bring strategic financial alignment between supply chain, technology, marketing, people operations and merchandising to drive targeted financial outcomes.

Our Director of FP&A will...

  • Own and manage the regular corporate budgeting and forecasting processes through partnership with our Director of Finance for Brands.
  • Work across the organization to drive regular planning processes at both the corporate and brand level that bring strategic alignment across the company and establish our longer-term financial plans and goals.
  • Own the corporate financial model that brings together our corporate objectives and brands' financial plan.
  • Manage and develop our Corporate FP&A and Treasury teams and the ways they support the business to drive continued growth.
  • Parter with department leads and leadership to enable growth and alignment, and continue to improve our corporate and brand financial planning processes as our business expands.
  • Lead the production of all board and investor reporting deliverables.
  • Support debt and equity fund raising activities as needed and overall capital planning.
  • Continue to innovate on the ways the FP&A and Treasury teams operate to make them more efficient and effective through AI solutions.
  • Build and deliver regular financial reporting, specifically the KPIs and metrics that drive the decisions and actions of the business.
  • Collaborate with departments leads to identify areas for improving profitability, margins, ROI, and business risks.
  • Manage Treasury Function to ensure efficient use of working capital and effective oversight of daily liquidity profile and forecast.
  • Own the management of debt facilities including lender reporting and covenant management.
  • Oversee banking relationships and cash management strategy.
  • Support and drive corporate development activities as needed.
  • Execute ad-hoc projects in support of business opportunities and analysis.
  • Own the FP&A and Treasury tech stack, including all planning, BI reporting, and treasury tools, and continue to drive innovation as needs change and new technology emerges.

A great candidate will have...

  • A bachelor's degree or higher with a finance, accounting and/or economics focus.
  • At least 3 years of successful experience leading and managing the FP&A function for a high growth, venture or P/E backed company.
  • At least 2 years of successful experience in a role such as investment banking that involved heavy, 3 statement financial modeling.
  • Experience in consumer-packaged goods and/or e-commerce.
  • Experience with Adaptive or other planning solutions.
  • Strong ability to independently drive projects and manage the PF&A function with continuous improvement of processes.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, specifically with senior leadership.
