REPORTS TO: General Manager

STATUS: Exempt

Ocean Place Resort & Spa is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Director of Finance to join our leadership team in Long Branch, NJ. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all financial operations, ensuring the continued financial health and growth of our luxurious resort. You will lead strategic financial planning, budgeting, and reporting initiatives, collaborating closely with other departments to optimize operational efficiency and profitability. The ideal candidate will bring a strong analytical mindset, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for driving business success in a dynamic hospitality environment.
Responsibilities

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; CPA or MBA preferred.
  • Experience in Reeco, M3, Birchstreet and Opera are all a plus.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role-hospitality experience is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of financial software and advanced proficiency in Excel.
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
