A Typical Workday

Your day starts with a quick scan of dashboards and cash position, then you connect with teammates (in-office and remote) to align on priorities during standard business hours. You'll spend focused time reviewing close progress and variance narratives, then shift into collaboration-answering questions from leaders who need clear, decision-ready numbers. Later, you may refine a Power BI view for a KPI readout, check covenant calculations before a bank update, or validate an ASC 606 treatment for a new service arrangement. Between meetings, you'll carve out quiet time for deep work in Excel and your reporting tools-keeping documentation tight and the story behind the numbers easy to follow. A CPA who likes steady cadence, clean data, and practical problem-solving will feel at home.
