ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Oversees monthly closing, prepares financial statements, and maintains strict internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP (generally accepted accounting principles).
- Develops long-term financial plans, conducts and analyzes financial data to guide executive decision-making.
- Analyzes revenue streams to reduce losses, monitors capital expenditures, and manages medical cost analysis.
- Ensures adherence to federal and state health regulations.
- Responsible for supervision of billing and collections staff.
- Prepares cost reports for all facilities.
- Reports to work in a timely manner and adheres to policies, procedures, and processes.
- Performs other job duties as needed and/or as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: - Requires a bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
- Healthcare experience is preferred.
