Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Finance to lead our financial operations and ensure fiscal integrity across the organization. This leadership role requires a comprehensive understanding of financial management, accounting standards, and industry regulations. The successful candidate will oversee financial planning, reporting, compliance, payroll, and risk management, supporting organizational growth and sustainability. The Director of Finance will collaborate with executive leadership and Board of Directors to develop strategic initiatives and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements. Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Oversee all aspects of accounting functions including general ledger management, accounts payable/receivable, cost accounting, and financial statement preparation.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory reporting requirements for both non-profit and governmental accounting.
  • Manage treasury functions including cash flow analysis, investment management, and risk assessment.
  • Develop and maintain financial projection models, budgets, forecasts, and cost control measures to support strategic planning.
  • Process payroll while ensuring accuracy and compliance with all deductions and applicable tax laws.
  • Conduct risk analysis to identify potential financial threats and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Oversee financial reporting processes including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and other key financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead audits and ensure accurate reconciliation of accounts such as balance sheets, general ledger accounts, and account analysis.

  • Manage compliance with industry-specific regulations such as ASC 606 revenue recognition standards and other applicable financial laws.
  • Collaborate with teams on investment management initiatives and oversee financial operations related to funding or grants in non-profit settings.

Qualifications
