Full Job Description
JOB PURPOSE

Warren Rupp, an IDEX business unit within the Severe Duty Flow Control (SDFC) platform, is a global leader in double diaphragm pumps and fluid handling solutions serving a broad range of industrial, chemical processing, wastewater, mining, and manufacturing applications based in Mansfield, OH. The Director of Finance & IT serves as a key member of the Warren Rupp Senior Leadership Team and has full responsibility for the business unit's finance and information technology functions, including financial planning and analysis, accounting oversight, financial reporting, business analytics, internal controls, working capital management, capital investment analysis, technology infrastructure, networks, data security and strategic decision support. The role reports to the SDFC VP of Finance and partners closely with the General Manager and functional leaders of the business unit to drive profitable growth, operational excellence, and long-term value creation.

The Director, Finance & IT leads the local finance and IT organizations while ensuring compliance with IDEX financial policies, GAAP requirements, and SOX controls. This individual plays a critical role in supporting commercial growth initiatives, operational productivity improvements, capital investment decisions, and business strategy execution through data-driven insights and strong financial leadership.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Serve as the primary financial advisor to the General Manager and Warren Rupp Leadership Team.
  • Provide financial analysis and decision support to drive revenue growth, profitability improvement, resource allocation, working capital optimization, and cash flow performance.
  • Lead development of business strategies through financial modeling, scenario analysis, and risk assessment.
  • Lead the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), monthly forecast, strategic planning, and long-range planning processes.
  • Drive performance management through timely and accurate monthly financial reporting, variance analysis, and business performance reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with all IDEX financial policies, accounting standards, and internal control requirements.
  • Maintain a robust SOX-compliant control environment and oversee audit activities.
  • Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Commercial teams to deliver on business performance.
  • Identify and drive productivity initiatives, cost optimization efforts, continuous improvement and margin expansion opportunities.
  • Drive working capital optimization initiatives, including inventory, receivables, payables, and cash flow performance.
  • Lead capital expenditure planning, investment analysis, and post-investment performance reviews.
  • Provide overall leadership for the IT function, including developing and executing the business unit's technology roadmap in alignment with business priorities.
  • Build, lead, and develop high-performing Finance and IT teams demonstrating servant leadership and fostering a culture of accountability.

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related discipline required.
  • CPA, CMA, MBA, or equivalent advanced financial credential preferred.
  • Minimum 12-15 years of progressive Finance leadership experience, preferably within a global manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, financial controls, and financial reporting requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience partnering directly with business and operational leaders to drive financial and operational performance.
  • Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements preferred.
  • Proven experience leading, coaching and developing high-performing teams, with a strong focus on talent development, succession planning, and building organizational capability for future leadership needs.

Total Rewards
The compensation range for this position is $158,600.00 - $237,800.00, depending on experience. This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.
