Job Description

The Director will lead a global team of field service professionals and managers, partnering closely with Technical Services, Sales, Project Management, Service Managers, and Business Leadership to optimize resource deployment, improve field execution processes, and expand service offerings that create measurable customer value. This position requires strong leadership, commercial acumen, and a passion for developing people while delivering exceptional customer outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the global Field Services strategy in alignment with business growth objectives and customer needs.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing organization spanning Inspection Services, Field Operating Services, and Early Career Development, in partnership with regional leadership teams.
  • Ensure safe, efficient, and consistent execution of customer field assignments across all regions.
  • Drive workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, training, and succession planning to maintain a highly capable technical workforce.
  • Optimize field resource utilization and deployment processes to maximize customer responsiveness and business profitability.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators related to safety, customer satisfaction, utilization, quality, productivity, and financial performance.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Technical Services, and Offering Management teams to support new service offerings and business development initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement through standard work processes, lessons learned, digital tools, and operational excellence methodologies.
  • Build and maintain senior-level relationships with key customers and strategic partners.
  • Ensure compliance with Honeywell and customer safety requirements, industry regulations, and quality standards.
  • Manage operating budgets and contribute to annual operating plans and strategic planning activities.
  • Serve as the escalation point for critical customer issues and field execution challenges.

  • 10+ years of experience in field services, technical services, operations, project execution, or related industrial service functions.
  • 5+ years of people leadership experience managing global or multi-regional teams.
  • Demonstrated success leading operational transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Experience managing customer-facing organizations with responsibility for financial and operational performance.

The annual base salary range for this position is $215,000 - $260,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

The application period for the job is estimated to be 40 days from the job posting date; however, this may be shortened or extended depending on business needs and the availability of qualified candidates.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience managing highly technical field organizations in refining, petrochemicals, gas processing, renewable fuels, or industrial markets.
  • Strong understanding of field service staffing models, workforce planning, and capability development.
  • Proven ability to influence across a matrixed organization and build strategic customer relationships.
  • Experience leveraging digital tools, analytics, and process automation to improve service delivery.
  • Experience with Salesforce (SFDC) and Field Service Lightning.
  • Strong commercial mindset with experience supporting service growth and profitability initiatives.
