Full Job Description
Job Summary:

The Director of Facilities Management will oversee the daily & periodic functions and regulatory requirements necessary to operate and maintain essential assets and/or procedural operations related to Superior business goals and objectives.

Duties/ Responsibilities:
  • Ensures the highest level of working order for all machinery & equipment - including regular planned maintenance schedules.
  • Ensures the highest level of working order including regular custodial services for all company facilities owned and/or leased.
  • Ensure all regulatory requirements are met as required including monthly inspection of facilities suppression system, inclusive of verifying portables and signing off on inspection.
  • Assessing, finalizing and submitting annual environmental reports, as applicable
  • Verify that employees managing chemical waste receive the legally mandated training.
  • Develop and implement environmental/chemical handling, storage, and control procedures - including the construction of a new chemical storage room.
  • Facilitate all technical/vendor scope of work & scheduling for related machinery, equipment, facilities & grounds as required.
  • Oversee all new construction, renovations, and/or re-organization of production space as required.
  • Manage the development & implementation of safety procedures and strategies to ensure a safe work environment in all areas.
  • Ensures that all facilities are compliant with Federal, State and Local Municipality environmental regulations.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain appropriate warehouse management (including internal & external shipping functions) and inventory management procedures that will support & streamline production operations.
  • Implement trash removal and recycling initiatives that align with environmental goals while also meeting cost efficiency targets.
  • Develop and implement security procedures that will protect & preserve the value of company assets.
  • Complete all other responsibilities and assignments as required to successfully achieve the goals and objectives of this position.

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Excellent organizational skills, planning skills, communication skills, managerial skills and attention to detail.
  • Extensive knowledge of Print/Finishing operations and related equipment/machinery.
  • Proficient in all technology resources and ability to utilize technology to achieve Superior Production Goals & Objectives.
  • RCRA certified
  • HazWoper certified (preferred but not required)

Education/Experience:
  • Related experience required.
  • Business degree (BS) preferred.

Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods working on feet, using tools, and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent bending and stooping.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
  • Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts produced.
