We are seeking a Director of Facilities & Site Services to serve as the operational backbone of our primary end-to-end campuses in Oro Valley and Marana. The Opportunity
Strategic Master Planning: Establish long-range utility master plans and standardized building design playbooks to support continuous campus expansion, technological upgrades, and long-term asset optimization.
Capital & Operational Stewardship: Formulate and manage multi-million dollar CapEx and OpEx budgets, aligning infrastructure investments directly with long-term business growth goals and global standards with insurance, SHE, and capital investment.
Business Continuity & Uptime: Drive predictive and condition-based asset management strategies alongside robust risk management and business continuity plans to eliminate single points of failure across manufacturing and R&D operations while aligned with SHE standards.
Critical Utilities & Engineering: Oversee engineering operations for critical site utilities, including RODI water, HVAC, CUP, electrical distribution, fire/life safety, and BMS networks.
Site Services: Directs high-performing teams delivering food services, housekeeping, specialized GMP cleaning, space planning, fitness center, and facilities Project Management Office (PMO).
Regulatory & Quality Compliance: Direct facilities and calibration operations to maintain strict, audit-ready compliance with FDA Quality System Regulations (QSR), ISO 13485, and global IVD standards.
Environmental Sustainability: Spearhead corporate decarbonization and site stewardship initiatives to reduce energy, water, and waste footprints across both campuses.
Team Leadership: Manage, coach, and inspire a high-performing team of Senior Managers and professional staff, fostering a culture of accountability, inclusion, and bold decision-making.
Who You Are
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Facilities Management, or a related field (MBA or Master’s degree preferred).
Industry Leadership: 12+ years of facilities/plant management experience within the diagnostic, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology sectors, including at least 7 years in progressive management roles.
Team Management:Experience leading cross-departmental leads/management, professional staff, technical site teams, and external vendors.
Cross-Functional Agility: Preferred experience supporting multi-use campus environments that blend manufacturing (instrument assembly or chemical/reagent formulation) with flexible Research & Development (R&D) lab spaces.
Financial Oversight: Demonstrated expertise executing multi-million dollar CapEx expansion strategies and managing substantial OpEx operational budgets.
Stakeholder Management: Capability to interact across all levels and functions within the site organization, Diagnostics Division, and the Global Capital Investment organization.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Arizona is $156,500 - $290,700. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
