As Director, Executive Business Operations, you'll serve as a trusted partner to Oglethorpe Power's President and Chief Executive Officer. You'll help drive strategic priorities, coordinate enterprise initiatives, support executive decision-making, and ensure critical business objectives move from idea to execution.

This highly visible role sits at the center of executive leadership activities and offers a unique opportunity to influence organizational effectiveness, build relationships across the company, and contribute directly to Oglethorpe Power's mission of providing safe, reliable, and affordable power to our members.

What You'll Do
  • Partner closely with the President and CEO to advance strategic priorities and key business initiatives.
  • Coordinate high-impact initiatives and ensure accountability for critical deliverables.
  • Prepare executive briefings, presentations, communications, and decision-support materials.
  • Manage the President and CEO's calendar, travel, meeting cadence and logistics, and coordination across executive calendars.
  • Build and maintain an enterprise-wide calendar to ensure coordination of events across departments and locations.
  • Support meeting follow-through activities.
  • Drive alignment and collaboration across departments to support enterprise-wide goals.
  • Support Executive Leadership Team and Board-related planning, coordination, and execution.
  • Develop processes, reporting tools, and organizational routines for adoption throughout the organization to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Lead special projects and initiatives that contribute to organizational success.

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Five or more years of progressively responsible experience supporting senior leaders, leading strategic initiatives, managing complex projects, or coordinating executive operations.
  • Experience working across multiple business functions and building relationships with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Experience supporting executive leadership teams, Boards of Directors, or other senior-level stakeholders is preferred.
