Position Overview for Maintenance Director:We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Maintenance Director to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our community's physical plant, including all engineering operations. The ideal candidate will ensure a safe, well-maintained, and welcoming environment for our residents while managing a team of staff committed to excellence in service.
Key Responsibilities as Maintenance Director:- Facility Management: Oversee the maintenance of the community's physical plant, ensuring it meets health and safety standards.
- Staff Leadership: Manage, train, and evaluate maintenance and housekeeping teams, fostering a culture of respect and accountability.
- Problem Solving: Conduct daily walkthroughs to identify and document maintenance issues; respond promptly to ongoing maintenance requests.
- Budget Management: Assist in developing and adhering to the annual budget for maintenance and environmental services, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, maintaining necessary logs and documentation.
- Vendor Coordination: Manage relationships with outside service providers for repairs and maintenance, obtaining competitive bids as needed.

- Previous experience in a senior living, healthcare, or residential setting is a plus.
