Director of Environmental Services in

Responsibilities:- Oversee and manage the environmental services department, ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of the facility
- Develop and implement cleaning protocols and procedures in accordance with OSHA regulations and industry best practices
- Coordinate and schedule custodial staff to ensure adequate coverage for all areas of the facility
- Train and supervise custodial staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to cleaning standards
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ordering as needed
- Collaborate with other departments to address any environmental service needs or concerns
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in environmental services
Qualifications:- Previous experience in a leadership role within environmental services or a related field
- Strong knowledge of custodial practices, OSHA regulations, and commercial cleaning techniques
- Experience with floor care, including stripping, waxing, and buffing floors
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with staff at all levels of the organization
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of hospital environmental service requirements is preferred
