POSITION SUMMARY

The Director of Enterprise Risk is responsible for leading the continued development and maturation of the Company's Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework. The role provides second-line oversight and works collaboratively with business leaders and risk management functions to identify, assess, monitor, and report material risks across the organization. The Director supports enterprise risk governance, risk appetite oversight, enterprise risk assessments, and risk reporting while helping ensure risk management practices remain aligned with the Company's strategy, risk profile, and regulatory expectations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Develop and execute a multi-year roadmap to mature and enhance the Company's enterprise risk management program.
  • Coordinate enterprise risk assessments and maintain an enterprise-wide view of material, emerging, and interconnected risks.
  • Support the Risk Appetite Statement and related monitoring and reporting activities.
  • Partner with business units to identify, assess, and address risks and strengthen risk management practices.
  • Collaborate with other risk management functions to integrate all risk disciplines into the broader enterprise risk management framework.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders across all levels of the organization to support risk management initiatives.
  • Provide guidance, education, and training to promote risk awareness, ownership, and accountability.
  • Coordinate enterprise risk governance activities and support management and board risk committees.
  • Prepare risk reporting for executive management and governance committees.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

CORE QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Minimum of eight years of progressively responsible experience in risk management, compliance, audit, finance or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in enterprise risk management, operational risk, compliance, audit, or a related risk function.
  • Demonstrated experience developing or enhancing risk management frameworks, governance processes, risk assessments, or risk reporting programs.
  • Experience preparing and presenting information to executive management, management committees, regulators, and board committees.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across the organization.
