Executive Advisory Board & Stakeholder Relations
  • Serve as a liaison to the College's:
    • Executive Advisory Board
    • Friends of Finance leadership and stakeholders
    • Other governing or affiliated engagement entities
  • Coordinate:
    • board communications,
    • agendas,
    • meetings,
    • engagement initiatives,
    • membership coordination,
    • and follow-up activities
  • Support the Dean and faculty leadership in cultivating and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

Strategic Engagement Planning & Execution
  • Lead the coordination, strategy, communication, and execution of Friends of Finance directives and initiatives.
  • Develop, plan, and assess college-wide engagement initiatives that maximize strategic impact and advance the goals and objectives of the College's strategic plan in support of:
    • students,
    • faculty,
    • employers,
    • alumni,
    • and community stakeholders.
  • Lead the planning and execution of signature college engagement initiatives, including:
    • Conference of Accountants
    • Friends of Finance Luncheons
    • Honors & Awards Ceremony
    • Employer and executive engagement activities
    • Community-facing college initiatives

Engagement Assessment & Strategic Analysis
  • Conduct pre- and post-engagement analyses for major initiatives and activities to assess effectiveness, stakeholder engagement, strategic impact, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop recommendations for future engagement strategies and implement improvements as appropriate.
  • Prepare annual and year-end engagement reports that provide:
    • strategic analysis,
    • participation and engagement metrics,
    • outcomes assessment,
    • and recommendations for future initiatives and enhancements.

Budget Development & Resource Management
  • Develop, recommend, and manage engagement-related budgets for college-wide engagement initiatives and activities.
  • Provide budgetary analysis, forecasting, and reporting related to engagement operations and initiatives.
  • Ensure responsible stewardship of institutional resources associated with engagement programming and stakeholder initiatives.

(This responsibility does not include student organization events or student programming budgets.)

External Engagement & Relationship Development
  • Cultivate and strengthen relationships with:
    • alumni,
    • employers,
    • industry leaders,
    • donors,
    • community organizations,
    • and strategic partners.
  • Support initiatives that increase the visibility, connectivity, and external engagement of the College.

Engagement Communications & Coordination
  • Coordinate communication strategies related to engagement initiatives, advisory board activities, and stakeholder outreach.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to support participation, visibility, and relationship continuity.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred
  • Experience in higher education, advancement, nonprofit leadership, stakeholder engagement, community relations, communications, or related fields
  • Demonstrated ability to lead high-visibility initiatives and cultivate external relationships
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Experience managing budgets, engagement initiatives, or executive-level stakeholder interactions preferred
