Cohannet Academy is an Intensive Residential Treatment Program for adolescents that specializes in trauma informed care. Cohannet provides 24-hour comprehensive care including a school on site, a full clinical staff, nursing staff, and direct care staff.
Compensation The pay range for this position is
$72,000 to
$97,000 per
year. The listed range reflects what we reasonably and in good faith expect to pay for this role at the time of posting the position. The actual compensation an employee is offered may vary based on several factors such as experience, education, licensure, certifications and qualifications. This range may be modified in the future.
JRI Provides Training So That: - YOU will be able to oversee Cohannet's education department in hiring, supervising, team-teaching as part of supervision, evaluation and training, unit planning, curriculum planning, technology integration, IEP development, development and oversight of related systems to support these tasks.
- YOU will be able to work in tandem with Cohannet's Clinical, Nursing, Residential Department and Administrative team to provide a shared vision of supportive and enriching programmatic services and to maintain positive relationships with outside agencies, families, and other involved parties.
- YOU will be able to provide leadership as a meeting chair, public school liaison, and among others.
Requirements:- Must be 21 years or older.
- Qualified candidates will have a Special Education Administrator certification or all of the following:
- M.ED Special Education/ SPED Administration.
- At least 1 years of experience as a supervisor and administrator.
- At least 5 years of experience working in special education with young adults with emotional disabilities.
- Experience working with youth in an alternative school setting or treatment program is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and leadership abilities.
- At JRI, you will learn to provide physical interventions and verbal de-escalations to provide the safest therapeutic atmosphere for our youth.
- Background and driving record checks will be performed.
