Full Job Description
Position Title: Director of Dining Services

Salary: $75,000 to $95,000

Job Summary

Overview:
Responsible for overseeing Residential, Retail, and Catering operations, ensuring efficient, high-quality service delivery across all areas. This role manages a team of five managers and three supervisors, providing leadership, coaching, and operational direction.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide strategic and day-to-day oversight of residential dining, retail outlets, and catering services
Lead, develop, and support a team of managers and supervisors to achieve operational and financial goals
Partner with culinary and catering teams to assist in menu development, planning, and execution of events
Ensure operational excellence, including service standards, quality, safety, and compliance
Manage labor, cost controls, and financial performance with a strong focus on P&L accountability
Collaborate with campus and client stakeholders to support catering growth and client satisfaction

Qualifications:

Proven experience managing unionized workforces required
Strong financial acumen with demonstrated P&L management and analytical skills
Experience in multi-unit dining operations (residential and retail preferred)
Catering experience strongly preferred
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to think strategically while executing operational details
