Director of Data & Analytics - Farmington, UT
What you own:
This role will report to LoanPro's CFO and will be the first Data Analyst hire. This individual will implement the data strategy vision at LoanPro by integrating data from core CRM, finance, product data lake and operations systems into Domo. This individual will provide key analytical insights to company leaders through data and business acumen inherent in the successful candidate. Responsible for exemplifying excellent customer service and the Company core values, culture, policy and procedures at all times.
Essential Job Functions:
- Develop & maintain a suite of SQL queries, reports & dashboards that are:
- Clear & concise:The data tells a clear and simple story that is easy to understand
- Accurate: The data is always double-checked and consistently re-checked for data integrity issues
- Insightful: Leaders can use the reporting suite to understand the underlying data and derive meaning from it
- Outcome-Oriented: Data and reporting are built to guide decision-makers to make good decisions and action-takers to take prompt actions
- Translate business needs and initiatives into scoped analytics requirements-staying informed and consistently aligned to the changing objectives of the business
- As the first BI hire, guide the data strategy for LoanPro as its operations grow substantially over the coming years. Over time, this may mean building out a team
- Conduct exploratory data analysis that helps supply senior leaders with recommendations and insights related to key business questions
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations to present data-driven insights
- Collaborate with business units to understand requirements and create ad-hoc reports
- Takes ownership of deep learning about our software, its functions, and how it fulfills our customers' needs and how they use the product Cultivate new business relationships, maintain existing business relationships with customers and partners
- An essential function of this role requires onsite work to collaborate with other team members. Remote work can be conducted at managers discretion and in accordance with company hybrid policy.

What you need for success:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- Exceptional writing and communication skills
- Strong editing and proofreading skills
- Comfortability with reading and understanding basic code snippets
- Experience using or general familiarity with APIs, databases, or programming languages
- Effective collaborator who thrives in a fast-paced environment
