What You'll Do Day-to-Day (Essential Duties & Responsibilities):- Develop and implement comprehensive credit risk management policies and procedures.
- Evaluate and approve credit proposals, ensuring that they meet the company's risk appetite and regulatory standards.
- Monitor the credit quality of the corporate loan portfolio, identifying potential risks and recommending mitigation strategies.
- Conduct regular reviews of credit policies and adjust them as necessary to reflect changes in market conditions and regulatory requirements.
- Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and ethical behavior within the credit team by leading, mentoring, and developing a team of credit analysts and managers, providing guidance and ensuring a high level of competence and performance.
- Make credit decisions and recommendations based on thorough analysis and understanding of the client's financial condition, industry trends, and economic outlook.
- Ensure that credit facilities are appropriately structured and documented.
- Monitor and manage the overall quality of the corporate credit portfolio, including tracking key credit metrics and trends.
- Proactively identify potential problem loans and work with relationship managers to develop action plans for resolution.
- Work closely with bank funding sources and maintain solid relationships to ensure there is always adequate funding lines to support the financial needs of the organization.
- Collaborate with legal, compliance, and audit departments to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Engage with external auditors and regulatory bodies as required.
- Collaborate closely with team members and leadership to continuously cultivate positive experiences for our customers.
- Perform other dynamic duties and responsibilities as assigned to support business
What We're Looking For (Qualifications & Skills):- Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting and 10 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of credit analysis, financial statement analysis, and risk assessment.
- Experience in managing large and complex corporate credit portfolios.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

$130,000-$175,000 depending on experience
