Full Job Description
The Director of Corporate Communications will work closely with the senior leadership team to create and enhance the voice of the key leaders and develop communication strategies that are consistent with Care Initiative's mission, vision and values.

What you'd do as the Director of Corporate Communications at Care Initiatives:
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop strategic communication plans and create and write internal communications representing the voice of the organization.
    • These may include company announcements, presentations, emails, content for company intranet or website.
  • Manage communications and serve as key point of contact to mitigate negative or inflammatory press and public perceptions.
  • Lead the creative process to publish stories that represent positive impressions from our enterprise-wide programs, that reflect the compassionate care and services Care Initiatives provides.
  • Lead and execute the development, enhancement and maintenance of existing and new internet and intranet capabilities and systems.
  • Oversee and manage the marketing and social media coordinator and coordinate communication efforts to tell the Care Initiatives story in as many web-based and social media channels as possible.
  • Occasional and up to 10% travel as needed to collaborate with Care Initiative leadership, skilled nursing and hospice locations, with some overnight stays required.

What it takes to become the Director of Corporate Communications with Care Initiatives:
  • Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience including developing, leading, and executing corporate communication strategies is required.
  • Bachelor's degree required with a concentration in communications, journalism, or similar field required.
  • Minimum of eight (8) years communications and marketing experience preferably in multi-site long term care, skilled nursing, or healthcare organization is highly preferred.
