Responsibilities

We are currently looking for a Director of Clinical Services to join our team of dedicated professionals.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Provides leadership and oversight for clinical services through the supervision of the Clinical Department and Testing and Assessment Services. Directs the development, implementation, and management of individualized treatment plans and comprehensive discharge planning for residents. Oversees assessment and evaluation services to ensure quality, compliance, and effective treatment outcomes. Coordinates and facilitates clinical team meetings and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Serves as an active member of the Executive Committee, Discharge Planning Committee, Patient Safety Committee, Peer Review Committee, Environment of Care/Safety and Health Committee, Performance Improvement Committee, and other assigned Quality Assurance and CARF-related committees. Ensures compliance with regulatory standards and supports continuous quality improvement initiatives across the organization.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develops, coordinates, and facilitates staff training and professional development programs related to the treatment of sexually abusive youth and other clinical service functions.
  • Ensures that the therapists and other positions supervised are filled by competent individuals who meet all criteria set forth by Hermitage Hall and its Contract and licensure and accrediting requirements.
  • Assists clinical department in development of treatment modules and worksheets for use in execution of treatment plans.
  • Provides crisis intervention when appropriate and provides follow-up (e.g. develops individual and group interventions, evaluate residents for hospitalization)
  • Participates in the Administration On-Call (AOC) rotation, providing leadership, guidance, and support for operational and clinical issues during assigned coverage periods.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Master's Degree in social work or a related psychology field
  • Minimum three years experience providing therapy services, preferably with emotionally and/or behaviorally disturbed adolescents.
  • One year experience providing clinical supervision is required
  • One year experience in psychosexual, psychological and psycho-educational evaluation, preferably with children and adolescents
  • One year experience working with sex offenders is preferred and working in a residential treatment setting for one year is also preferred.
  • Must be very familiar with treatment planning and working in a managed care environment

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Must be at least 21 years of age.
