DescriptionIn this leadership role, you will oversee and guide the overall clinical operations of the nursing department, ensuring residents receive comprehensive, person-centered care in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
What You'll Do- Plan, organize, and direct all clinical operations within the nursing department.
- Maintain expert knowledge of policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to resident care and departmental operations.
- Develop and implement engaging resident wellness programs in collaboration with the Life Enrichment Director.
- Ensure accurate, timely, and organized documentation of resident records and care information.
- Prepare resident charge reports for review and approval by leadership for billing purposes.
- Conduct or oversee resident assessments prior to move-in, annually, and as conditions change.
- Develop Individual Service Plans (ISPs), including initial plans within 72 hours of move-in, comprehensive updates within 30 days, and annual or as-needed revisions.
- Oversee and ensure quality of care provided by the nursing team across the community.
- Investigate and resolve resident and family concerns related to clinical services, ensuring timely and appropriate resolution.
- Participate in ongoing professional development, including a minimum of 12 hours of annual training relevant to the resident population.
