We are accepting applications for the position of Director of Career and Technical Education - Post Secondary Initiatives. All applicants must follow one of the following processes:
Process for Out of District Applicants: Out of district applicants are required to complete an online application. All requested documents as indicated in the posting must be uploaded to the application.
Process for District Employees: District employees must complete an online administrative application in Frontline. If an employee does not already have an application in Frontline, they will have to create a new user ID and password to apply for the specific position.
Applicants for this position must have the following qualifications and experience:
- Master's degree in curriculum and instruction, educational administration, workforce education, higher education administration, or a field appropriate to assignment from an accredited college or university
- General qualifications of a teacher as prescribed by the State Board of Education or meet the requirements in Aldine ISD District of Innovation (DOI) plan
- Minimum five (5) years of experience as a teacher in an approved career and technical education program or administrative and/or supervisory experience
- Experience working with postsecondary partnerships, dual credit, P-TECH, workforce development, and Career and Technical Education preferred
