Our client is seeking an experienced Director of Billing to lead and optimize Medicaid billing operations and revenue cycle performance. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely claim submission, maximizing reimbursement, maintaining regulatory compliance, and driving operational efficiency through data analysis, technology, and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the full Medicaid revenue cycle, including claim submission, rebilling, payment posting, denial management, and accounts receivable reconciliation.
- Ensure timely reimbursement and optimize collections across Medicaid-funded and other revenue-generating programs.
- Monitor aging receivables and implement strategies to improve collection performance.
- Analyze billing data, KPIs, denial trends, and reimbursement metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Partner with Finance, Operations, and Compliance teams to strengthen billing integrity, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.
- Leverage billing systems and reporting tools to improve efficiency, accuracy, and financial outcomes.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree required.
- Prior experience leading billing and revenue cycle operations, preferably in a nonprofit or human services environment.
- Strong managerial and team leadership experience.
- High attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with NetSuite and/or Millin preferred.
- Knowledge of Medicaid billing, reimbursement processes, and regulatory requirements preferred.
Compensation: $100,000-120,000Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
