  • Foster teamwork and effective communication within the department and across the college.
  • Develop and implement outreach strategies for student growth.
  • Ensure departmental compliance with regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct new student orientations and support other training initiatives.
  • Reduce turnover by engaging and training Admissions staff and providing recognition.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Ensures the Admissions Department meets goals as set forth in the College's yearly business plans. This includes managing operations in a manner designed to provide for the for recruitment of qualified admissions applicants for the school in accordance with state, federal, accreditation, and company policies and regulations, consistent with the highest ethical standards. This position monitors day-to-day activities to maintain compliant practices. Moreover, they will motivate, supervise, and train all the Admissions Department employees. In carrying out the duties and responsibilities of this position, must ensure consideration and implementation of the CHCP philosophy, which provides for providing quality services to all students, visitors, and clients; focusing on the development, growth, and involvement of staff members; offering recognition of employees; adhering to sound economic principles; and creating an environment which is conducive to innovation, positive thinking, and expansion.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work closely with campus and corporate vertical leaders to monitor monthly and yearly enrollment and new student goals.
  • Assist management with the formation of yearly business plans in terms of projected enrollments as well as advertising and admissions budgets.
  • Interact effectively as either as a leader or as a member of a team and work collaboratively with other departments.
  • Develop, maintain, and update outreach strategies to better enable the Admissions Department to meet new student growth plans.
  • Manage the Admissions Department in a manner compliant with state, federal, accreditation, and company policies and regulations. This may include identifying any activities deemed potentially non-compliant and taking action to recommend and/or implement prompt corrective action.
  • Assist with new student orientations.
  • Complete all required training, including, though not limited to observations, team stand-ups, Texas Workforce Commission oversight, and program product knowledge.
  • Reduce or limit staffing turnover through engagement, training, holding consistent one on ones, assisting them solve problems and providing recognition as a motivational tool
  • Interface and communicate appropriately with other College personnel to aid in the timely and effective flow of information between departments as well as within the Admissions Department.
  • Assist other College employees as directed by management in terms of specific record-keeping obligations and/or to ensure the Admissions Department maintains organized, accurate, and complete records.
  • Monthly and annual cumulative student persistence for school.
  • Coordinate and participate in public relations for the College.
  • Screen, evaluate, and interview applicants for positions in the Admissions Department.
  • Attend and participate in staff meetings.
  • Responsible for enrolling and starting students as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Education

  • Bachelors' Degree preferred in business or related field; or a combination of education and work experience.

Experience

  • 5 years min as Admission Advisor/ADOA in career education college/school.

Computer Skills

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, Outlook, and Word) and data entry.
  • CRM knowledge preferred (Velocify, Campus Vue)
  • Soft phone system experience preferred (In Contact) Certificates and Licenses Certificates and Licenses
  • TWC Certification will be submitted and paid for by CHCP
