Job PurposeThe Director of National Accounts is responsible for developing and leading national sales and service operations to meet or exceed assigned revenue, bookings, and profitability goals. This role drives a cohesive sales growth strategy, ensures strong customer relationships, and provides leadership that delivers consistent performance across all national accounts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Exercising discretion and independent judgment when dealing with critical matters within the organization
- Superior understanding to product lines being sold, pricing, and price negotiation
- Leading staff on the promotion of products, networking understanding competitor products and activity
- Hiring, retaining, evaluating, and improving sales leaders and their sales representatives (including personal development plans for each business line sales leader)
- Working with manufacturing reps and distributors
- Responsible for territory expansion
- Creating and implementing sales processes and metrics to ensure the continuous improvement of those processes
- Direct selling processes; including identification of new customers ad sales channel management
- Assist in creating and executing sales strategies|maintaining relationships with established customers
- Profit and loss responsibilities including; sales forecasting, margin tracking, DSO control, managing costs
- Extensive travel is involved

QualificationsThis position includes supervisory responsibilitiesMinimum Qualifications- Bachelors Degree with 8 years of experience in sales and management with extensive sales experience
- Ability to understand and explain technical and electrical related systems
- Excellent communication skills
- Outstanding presentation and written and oral communication skills
- High energy level

Compensation Range: $125,100.00 - $156,200.00
Compensation may vary based on applicant's work experience, education level, skill set, and/or location.
