Role Summary

Trulieve is seeking a highly strategic and a proven execution-focused leader to serve as a key member of the executive leadership team and strategic advisor to the Executive Director of the Marketing Organization, driving enterprise-wide initiatives, operational excellence, and cross-functional alignment across marketing, digital, IT/Tech, and business operations. This role functions as a central point of coordination for strategic priorities, executive communications, program governance, and organizational effectiveness.

This role is ideal for a strategic operator who combines the discipline of a PMO leader, the influence of a senior program executive, and the business acumen of a trusted advisor to executive leadership. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with exceptional leadership, communication, and program management capabilities who can translate executive vision into actionable plans, drive accountability across teams, and ensure successful execution of high-priority initiatives. This position serves as a trusted advisor and strategic operator, influencing outcomes across the organization while leading critical programs and special projects.

Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Business Execution
  • Partner with executive leadership to develop, prioritize, and execute strategic initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
  • Translate business objectives into actionable roadmaps, program plans, and measurable outcomes.
  • Drive planning processes, quarterly business reviews, and strategic operating rhythms.
  • Own governance and oversight of the Marketing organization's operating budget, investment portfolio, agency spend, and strategic initiative funding recommendations.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities that may impact organizational priorities.

Marketing PMO & Program Portfolio Management
  • Lead and evolve the Marketing Project Management Office (PMO), establishing governance, standards, and best practices.
  • Direct oversight of all Program and Project Management resources across the Marketing organization, fostering a high-performing PMO through coaching, mentorship, resource planning, and continuous improvement of project delivery capabilities.
  • Oversee a portfolio of marketing, digital, and enterprise initiatives to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Monitor program performance, resource allocation, budgets, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Implement portfolio reporting and performance metrics to support informed decision-making.
  • Drive continuous improvement in project delivery methodologies and operational processes.

Strategic Initiatives & Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Lead high-impact, cross-functional programs spanning marketing, digital, technology, operations, and business teams.
  • Facilitate collaboration across departments to ensure alignment, accountability, and successful execution.
  • Manage complex initiatives involving multiple stakeholders, competing priorities, and organizational change.
  • Serve as the escalation point for critical project issues and drive resolution.

Executive Communications & Reporting
  • Develop and deliver executive-level communications, board-ready presentations, strategic narratives, and business performance reviews for senior leadership.
  • Deliver and Establish PMO industry leading standards around executive-level presentations, business reviews, dashboards, program status reports, and strategic communications.
  • Track key performance indicators, initiative progress, and organizational priorities.
  • Ensure executives have timely, accurate information to support decision-making.

Vendor Governance & External Partnerships
  • Establish governance frameworks for agency, consultant, and vendor relationships.
  • Manage vendor performance, contract compliance, service-level expectations, and business outcomes.
  • Partner with procurement, finance, and legal teams on vendor selection, negotiations, and renewals.
  • Drive accountability and value realization from external partnerships.

Resource Management & Organizational Effectiveness
  • Optimize resource planning and allocation across strategic initiatives and operational priorities.
  • Assess organizational capacity, identify gaps, and recommend solutions to improve effectiveness.
  • Partner with executive leadership on organizational design, workforce planning, operating model development, and prioritization decisions across the Marketing organization.

Special Projects & Executive Support
  • Lead confidential, high-priority projects on behalf of the Executive Director and senior leadership team.
  • Drive initiatives requiring executive sponsorship, organizational change, or cross-functional coordination.
  • Serve as a trusted partner to leadership on emerging business challenges and opportunities.


QUALIFICATIONS

Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Strategy, Management, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in program management, strategy, operations, marketing operations, PMO leadership, or related disciplines.
  • Proven experience leading transformational, enterprise-wide, cross-functional initiatives and strategic programs.
  • Proven experience managing multimillion-dollar portfolios and budgets.
  • Strong executive presence with exceptional written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment without direct authority.
  • Experience developing executive reporting, dashboards, and business reviews.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.


Preferred
  • Master's degree (MBA or related discipline).
  • Experience in marketing, digital transformation, customer experience, or business operations environments.
