Director, Marketing Communications

Location: : Flexible / Plano, TX preferred

Position Summary

Airspan is seeking a Director, Marketing Communications to develop and execute an integrated marketing and communications strategy that strengthens the company brand, drives business growth, and enhances customer and stakeholder engagement. This person will develop and ensure consistent messaging across all content channels including ownership of the corporate website, building out a company speaker program, managing press and analyst relations, and leading Airspan's participation in industry events and tradeshows. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, strong writer and communicator, and an experienced data-driven marketing leader with a sharp eye for design and brand consistency. They are equally comfortable shaping marketing strategy, and leading day to day execution in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute an integrated marketing communications program in support of company and business-unit goals.
  • Build and strengthen the company's brand positioning within the radio technology marketplace by maintaining and evolving Airspan's visual brand identity and design standards across web, print, and event materials.
  • Own the corporate website end-to-end: content strategy, updates, design consistency, functionality, and performance, working with internal stakeholders and external web development partners as needed.
  • Build and manage a company speaker program, identifying speaking opportunities at industry conferences and events, preparing executives and subject matter experts, and tracking outcomes.
  • Plan and manage Airspan's participation in industry events and tradeshows, including booth design, logistics, staffing, collateral, and post-event follow-up and ROI reporting.
  • Develop marketing collateral and content (web copy, presentations, brochures, case studies, byline articles) that is clear, consistent, and on-brand.
  • Own press and analyst relations, including drafting press releases and briefing materials, and maintaining relationships with industry analysts and trade press.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and external vendors/agencies to ensure programs are delivered on time and on budget.
  • Lead and develop a small team of internal and external resources fostering creativity, collaboration, and accountability to successfully deliver the marketing program.
  • Track and report on program performance, using data to refine marketing communications strategy.

Qualifications
  • 8-10+ years of experience in marketing communications, corporate communications, or a related field, ideally in technology, telecom, or wireless/networking industries.
  • Proven experience managing corporate websites, including content management systems and coordinating with design/development resources.
  • Experience building or running a speaker program and managing event/tradeshow participation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write clearly and persuasively for varied audiences.
  • Strong program and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives, timelines, and budgets simultaneously.
  • Strong sense of visual design and brand consistency; comfortable giving direction on layout, imagery, and creative assets.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Experience working with design tools and web platforms is a plus.
  • Ability to travel occasionally for industry events and tradeshows.
