Director of Marketing Automation Data Analytics

Are you looking for a place where you can bring your expertise and act as the cross-functional bridge - translating marketing needs into clear, actionable requirements for campaign reporting, performance measurement, and advanced predictive modeling (AI/ML)?

As a Director of Marketing Automation & Data Analytics on the Data Analytics team, a typical day for you will include:

  • Marketing Data Science & Modeling


  • Lead development and deployment of predictive models (segmentation, propensity, next-best-action, churn)


  • Apply machine learning and statistical techniques to improve targeting and personalization


  • Translate business problems into modeling approaches


  • Campaign Performance Measurement & Optimization:


  • Develop and own frameworks for measuring impact of multi-channel, behavior-triggered acquisition and nurture programs across email, SMS, and app channels


  • Implement incrementality testing, attribution modeling, and marketing mix modeling


  • Deliver insights on ROI and campaign lift


  • Establish feedback loops for continuous optimization


  • Experimentation & Test Design:


  • Build a culture of experimentation


  • Define best practices for statistical testing and interpretation


  • Partner with stakeholders on test prioritization


  • Advanced Analytics & Insights:


  • Lead deep-dive analyses on customer behavior


  • Translate analytical outputs into actionable recommendations


  • Define requirements for executive-level reporting and insights delivery


  • Personalization & Segmentation Strategy:


  • Define data-driven segmentation and personalization strategies


  • Provide requirements for model-driven personalization and targeting capabilities


  • Ensure alignment between marketing strategy and analytical outputs


  • Cross-Functional Partnership:


  • Orchestrate cross-functional teams across Marketing, Data Engineering, IT and Data Science to align marketing technology with overall business strategy


  • Collaborate with data engineering and IT on data availability


  • Partner with marketing teams to operationalize models


  • Act as an effective bridge between data science and marketing


  • Technology & Innovation:


  • Evaluate tools for modeling, experimentation, and analytics


  • Drive adoption of AI/ML-driven decisioning through business use cases and requirements

(Required qualifications)

  • Experience:


  • 8+ years of experience in marketing analytics and automation, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.


  • Proven track record in modeling, experimentation, and performance improvement


  • Expertise in marketing analytics and experimentation with strong business acumen, stakeholder management, and the ability to translate complex marketing objectives into scalable data and modeling requirements.


  • Strong understanding of predictive modeling, ML, and experimentation


  • Strong knowledge of marketing measurement (attribution, MMM)


  • Ability to translate business needs into analytics and data science requirements


  • Strong communication and senior stakeholder influence


  • Familiarity with marketing platforms (CRM, CDPs)


  • Education:


  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Data Analytics, or related field (Master's preferred)


  • Schedule / in-office requirements:


  • Hybrid working model; Monday-Wednesday in office, Thursday/Friday from home.
