Full Job Description
Lead the commercial adoption, clinical implementation, and market expansion of the VUZE platform in Spine across North America. This role is responsible for accelerating customer adoption, utilization growth, sales readiness, and clinical success through close collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and key customer stakeholders.

The Market Development Manager serves as the commercial and clinical adoption leader for VUZE and acts as the primary field-based subject matter expert, ensuring successful customer onboarding, workflow integration, and sustainable procedural growth.

Commercialization & Launch

  • Support execution of the North American launch strategy for the new product, identify barriers and recommend actions to improve customer engagement and utilization.
  • Develop and implement adoption plans designed to accelerate utilization and procedural growth.
  • Collect and communicate customer, field, and market feedback to support future product and business strategy enhancements and serve as the primary liaison between Product Management and the North American commercial organization
  • Monitor competitive technologies, market dynamics, customer needs, and industry trends to support commercial strategy and positioning.

Market Development & Customer Adoption

  • Drive expansion of the user base through strategic customer engagement and adoption initiatives.
  • Identify and support early adopter sites and key customer accounts.
  • Establish and share best practices to facilitate long-term utilization and adoption.
  • Identify, develop, and engage Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and reference centers to drive clinical advocacy, education, customer evaluations, peer-to-peer engagement, and adoption of the VUZE platform.

 

Sales Readiness & Enablement

  • Partner with Marketing on educational initiatives and training programs related to the new product to support continued commercial expansion and adoption of the new product.
  • Educate sales teams on product functionality, clinical workflows, competitive positioning, and customer value propositions.
  • Support development and delivery of customer and field educational materials in collaboration with Marketing.
  • Partner with Regional Sales Leaders, Product Specialists and Account Managers to support strategic opportunities, evaluations, and conversion of early adopter accounts.

 

Clinical Support, Demonstrations & Applications Training

  • Conduct product demonstrations, workshops, and customer evaluations.
  • Deliver hands-on applications training for customers and field personnel.
  • Support installation, onboarding, and workflow implementation activities.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Product Management to ensure consistent customer experience throughout the adoption journey.

Qualification & Experiences

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in medical devices, image-guided surgery, surgical navigation, robotics, advanced visualization, or related technologies, preferably within spine surgery.
  • Demonstrated success in sales, market development, clinical support, applications, product marketing, or customer-facing roles within the medical device industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills.
  • Highly motivated to work with innovative image-guidance technologies and continuously learn new solutions.
  • Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Experience launching new medical technologies, driving adoption of new products and working directly with surgeons and hospital stakeholders in the operating room environment preferred.

The base pay range for this position is:

$141,340 - $194,337

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
