• Develop and execute enterprise-wide learning and development strategies aligned with business objectives, operational priorities, and workforce planning initiatives
• Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of learning programs supporting frontline, operational, technical, and corporate leadership.
• Partner with business leaders, People teams, and operational stakeholders to identify capability gaps and develop targeted learning solutions
• Ensure learning initiatives support regulatory requirements and maintain alignment with applicable FAA (Federal Aviation Administration), IATA (International Air Transport Association), and EASA (European Union Aviation Safety Agency) safety and operational standards
• Establish learning effectiveness metrics and performance measures to evaluate program outcomes and drive continuous improvement
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of learning professionals responsible for content development, instructional design, facilitation, and program management
• Champion modern learning methodologies, digital learning solutions, and emerging technologies to enhance Team Member engagement and learning effectiveness
• Collaborate with Talent Management and business leadership to support succession planning, leadership pipeline development, and long-term workforce capability strategies
• Manage external vendor relationships, consulting partnerships, and learning service providers
• Develop and manage departmental budgets, resource allocation, and strategic learning investments
All you'll need for successMinimum Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field, or equivalent experience/training
• 10 years of progressive experience in learning and development, talent development, organizational effectiveness, training, or related discipline
• 7 years of progressive leadership experience
• Experience developing and implementing enterprise-wide learning strategies and programs
• Experience managing large-scale projects and cross-functional initiatives
• Knowledge of learning technologies, including Learning Management Systems (LMS)
• Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with senior leaders and stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience• Master's degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Education, or Sciences, or a related field
• Experience within the airline, aviation, transportation, hospitality, or other highly regulated industries
Skills, Licenses, and Certifications• Demonstrates the highest standards of ethics and integrity
• Extensive experience designing, implementing, and evaluating learning and development programs
• Advanced knowledge of instructional design principles, adult learning methodologies, and learning technologies
• Strong experience leading complex projects and enterprise-wide initiatives
• Analytical ability to leverage data, metrics, and insights to measure program effectiveness and support decision-making
• Ability to be highly collaborative, form consensus, build relationships, and work productively with a broad range of experienced professionals throughout the company
• Ability to think strategically, negotiate skillfully, digest complex details and use sound judgment and initiative in making decisions
• Ability to drive organizational effectiveness and support change management initiatives
• Ability to build partnerships and influence executive leaders and key stakeholders
• Ability to coach, mentor and serve as a role model for team members
• Ability to influence through outstanding interpersonal skills and drive success by asking meaningful questions, challenging the status quo, and modeling teamwork and effective collaboration
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing, and complex environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to handle complex topics comfortably and to effectively and clearly communicate a strategic and tactical vision to all levels within the organization
• Experience managing budgets, resources, and strategic investments
• Ability to travel, as needed
