Full Job Description
The Director, Imaging supports three hospitals and eight outpatient clinics in the St. Charles County market. Its broad scope demands flexibility and adaptation to manage competing priorities, triage concerns, and balance the nuances of both acute and ambulatory services.

Job Summary:
Directs and leads the delivery of imaging services across multiple modalities within Imaging.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

Primary Responsibilities
  • Develops and leads the implementation of policies, procedures and initiatives for imaging services across assigned modalities.
  • Develops departmental goals and standards consistent with medical, administrative, legal and ethical requirements of the health care delivery system.
  • Prepares departmental budget and ensures that department operates within allocated funds.
  • Develops, implements, and monitors plan for patient care services in assigned department.
  • Serves as a liaison between the service area and other department leaders.
  • Maintain department facilities and equipment in a condition to promote efficiency, health, comfort and safety of patients and staff.
  • Maintains compliance with regulatory agencies.
  • Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Education
  • Bachelor's degree


Experience
  • Seven years' experience, with five years in direct people management/leadership
