Full Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY:

The Director, HRIS and Analytics, will own the development and implementation of the global human resources technology platform to ensure accurate data and effective system processes. This position will sit in the Information Technology Department and partner closely with the Human Resources team. The role is responsible for the administration, functionality, and strategic evolution of AE's global SAP SuccessFactors platform, including all SuccessFactors modules (Learning Management, Compensation and Variable Pay, Recruiting, Onboarding, Goals and Performance), data governance, integrations with other enterprise systems, HR reporting, workforce planning analytics, executive people dashboards, predictive workforce insights, and the implementation of Employee Central.

This role bridges the gap between HR strategy and technological execution, ensuring that HR processes are scalable, efficient, data-driven, and equipped to deliver an exceptional employee experience. The Director will also establish and advance AE's people analytics capabilities, transforming workforce data into actionable insights that support talent strategy, organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, retention, productivity, and executive decision-making. This position demands a strong people leader with a transformative outlook, a continuous improvement mindset, solid project management skills, and a deep understanding of both HR practices and technology trends.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Define and implement a technology strategy and roadmap for HR technology to support growth and deliver an effective employee experience.
  • Partner with HR leaders to identify business requirements and deliver technology-enabled solutions across Talent Acquisition, Organizational Development, Total Rewards, and HR Operations.
  • Build strong relationships with business leaders to provide strategic guidance on HR technology capabilities and opportunities.
  • Lead HR technology architecture, data governance, and multiple concurrent projects, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, market trends, and business needs to identify opportunities that create competitive advantage.
  • Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of HRIS applications, including SAP SuccessFactors and Employee Central.
  • Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities and implement effective solutions.
  • Lead, develop, and support the HRIS and Analytics team.
  • Own HR reporting, dashboards, and people analytics capabilities, including self-service reporting tools and end-user training.
  • Develop and deliver SuccessFactors reporting and analytics solutions that support business objectives and decision-making.
  • Design and deliver training, documentation, and ongoing support to maximize user adoption and satisfaction.
  • Manage relationships with external HR technology vendors and consultants, including contract negotiations and service performance.
  • Own enterprise people analytics, including workforce dashboards, key HR metrics, and executive reporting that support talent, organizational, and workforce planning decisions.
  • Drive process improvement and automation initiatives to increase efficiency, data quality, and accessibility.
  • Stay current on HR technology, AI, analytics, self-service, and mobile solutions to enhance HR service delivery.


QUALIFCATIONS:
  • Demonstrated technical expertise with multiple software applications and ability to learn new software as needed.
  • Strong project-based experience managing multiple high-complexity HR projects simultaneously and experience in effectively communicating and negotiating resource, cost, and timeline information to our internal and external customers.
  • Understanding of business process management, and ability to conduct business analysis and translate customer needs into technical specifications.
  • Solid understanding of HR processes, terminology and best practices with the ability to apply knowledge to the assessment of data and development of metrics.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal, written communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
  • Works well with all levels of management and employees.
  • Demonstrates innovation and creativity by continually improving internal processes.
  • Knowledge of Human Resources functions.
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Microsoft Project experience preferred.

  • Location: Denver
  • On-site standard office environment


EXPERIENCE:
  • 10 years progressive, relevant experience in HRIS or IT required with 3 to 5 years of HRIS team management experience.
  • Demonstrated experience with SAP SuccessFactors, specifically leading SAP SuccessFactors implementation.

EDUCATION:
  • Bachelor's degree


COMPENSATION:

As required by multiple state pay transparency laws, Advanced Energy provides a reasonable range of compensation for each job posting. Actual compensation is influenced by an array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. The range of starting pay for this role is $165,000 to $200,000 per year.
