The Role: Director, Health Care Provider Partnerships
Reporting to the VP, Pharmacy Business Development, the Director, Health Care Provider Partnerships is the strategic and business lead to develop, negotiate, and implement new partnerships with health care providers such as primary care physicians, specialists, nurses and overall hospitals.
This individual will fill an existing vacancy on the team and will also lead the current primary care relationships to ensure that we retain and expand on these vital partnerships. These partnerships will be aligned to the Rexall strategy and enable our pharmacy teams to improve patient health outcomes, patient experience, patient loyalty and to drive growth.
What you'll be doing:
Be the leader for prospective healthcare partnerships, build out business cases, and ensure successful execution of such partnerships.
Lead existing priority partnership business reviews while also investigating strategies to expand the partnership.
Work closely with Rexall's Operations Leadership, Real Estate, Legal and local Pharmacy teams to develop and execute plans to track and improve partnership business performance.
Collaborate with other pharmacy business development leads, particularly the Director, Specialty Business Development, Director, Employer and Payor Partnerships, and the Director Brand Pharmaceutical Partnerships to develop programs, maximize business results and help to deliver the best customer experience.
Lead development of internal and external marketing materials outlining the value of provider and healthcare partnerships
Develop key performance indicators and reporting suite to measure execution of programs and partnerships.
Ensure regular partnership review meetings are arranged to track partnership performance and identify new opportunities for growth
Collaborate with other business units, such as Central Pharmacy Operations, Marketing and Be Well / Loyalty teams, to ensure execution of partnerships and programs, as per contractual commitments.
Lead a team to ensure that Rexall's strategic and growth goals are achieved.
Attend industry functions designed to increase relationships, grow Rexall's reputation and expand awareness of Rexall's capabilities and assets
Monitor and maintain awareness of retail health, pharmacy and other health systems trends to inform new partnership opportunities and to guide contract negotiations.
Demonstrate leadership, influence, agility and accountability to achieve objectives.
Participate in other strategic partnerships with hospitals, healthcare providers and/or researchers where aligned with programs and initiatives
Perform other duties as assigned in support of Rexall Pharmacy Group Ltd.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
6+ years in the healthcare sector; Retail pharmacy experience an asset
