The Role

Moderna is seeking a Director, Global Talent Acquisition Operations to lead and scale the operations that enable hiring globally. This role is accountable for TA operational excellence, performance of our global Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO)andcontingent workforceprovider partnerships,recruiting technology, dataand compliance.

As the operational owner of our RPO partnership, this leader willestablishclear governance and performance expectations, use data to identifyopportunities and risks, and ensure strong alignment across the RPO, retainedTalent Acquisition team and business.

This leader will continuously challenge how work gets donethroughsimplifying, standardizingand digitizingprocesses to create a scalable, compliantand high-performing global TA operating model.

Here’s WhatYou’llDo

  • Lead global TA Operations,settingthe strategy and operating model to deliver a consistent, scalable experience for candidates, hiring managers and recruiters.

  • Own RPO governance and performance, including SLAs, KPIs, scorecards, capacity and productivity, governance reviews,escalationsand continuous improvement.

  • Drive operational performance through data,identifyingtrends, risks and opportunitiesand translating insights into clear actions and measurable improvements.

  • Simplify andstandardizeglobal recruiting processes,eliminatingunnecessary workand establishingclear processes, controlsand governance.

  • Lead TA vendor strategy and performance, including RPO, contingent workforce, search,assessmentand background screening partners.

  • Own TA technologyoptimization, partnering with Digital to improveour tech stackand identify opportunities for automation and AI.

  • Lead operational readiness and changefor new markets, technology deployments, process changesand business transformations impactingrecruiting.

  • Ensure global operational compliance, partnering with Legal,HRand other functions to establishappropriate recruiting processes and controls.

  • Lead and develop the TA Operations team,establishingclear priorities, performance expectationsand accountability.

  • Partner across theorganizationwith Talent Acquisition, HR, Digital, Legal, Procurement and Finance to deliver business priorities and resolve operational issues.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration ora relatedfield.

  • 12+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, Talent Acquisition Operations, recruiting operations or RPO.

  • 4+ years ofpeopleleadership experience with responsibility for globally distributed teams,performanceand development.

  • 4+ years of experience implementing,administeringor optimizingenterprise recruiting technology, including an ATSor HRIS.

  • Experience working with or for an RPO, MSP or other outsourced recruiting/workforce solution.

  • Experience leading Talent Acquisition operations,programsor transformations across multiple countries or regions.

  • Experience designing and implementingstandardizedrecruiting processes, governanceor operational controls.

  • Experience using recruiting data and operational metrics to identify performance gaps and drive measurable improvements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in life sciences, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, start-upor another high-growth environment.

  • 2+ years of experience with Workday Recruiting; experience withHiredScoreor another AI-enabled talent platform.

  • Hands-on experience managing or governing an RPO, MSP or other outsourced recruiting/workforce solution, including responsibility for SLAs, KPIs and performance management.

  • Experience supporting recruiting operations acrossUS, EMEA and/or APAC, including country-specific hiring,employmentor data privacy requirements.

  • Experience managing multiple Talent Acquisition vendors and contractual performance.

  • Experience presenting operational performance and recommendations to VP-level or executive stakeholders.

  • Experience implementing recruiting technology, automation,analyticsor AI solutions that deliveredmeasurable improvements in efficiency, adoption, service deliveryor user experience.

The salary range for this role is $167,000.00 - $300,700.00. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An individual’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, performance, and business or organizational needs. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, other incentive compensation, or equity award, subject to company plan eligibility criteria and individual performance.
