About the Role

This remote role can be located anywhere on the US East Coast.

We're hiring a Director to lead our Global Mobility & Immigration (GMI) function. You'll own GMI's overall strategy, operating model, and performance end-to-end making sure GMI is both a strategic enabler of business growth and a disciplined steward of compliance risk, and a trusted partner to the stakeholders and leaders who depend on it. This is a rare opportunity to build one globally integrated GMI ecosystem across our brands - harmonizing the policies, roles, and ways of working that grew up independently across our brand ecosystem - while balancing compliance, scalability, and employee experience, and building the leadership bench and long-term team structure GMI needs to keep growing. You'll lead and develop an existing, globally distributed team of mobility and immigration professionals, and serve as a strategic partner on the highest-priority cross-functional people operations initiatives. You will report to the Sr. Director, Head of Global People Operations and be part of the Global People Operations Leadership Team.
You're excited about this opportunity because you will...
  • Define and drive GMI's global strategy and priorities, keeping them tightly aligned with People Operations and the broader business strategy as both evolve.
  • Own and evolve one global GMI operating model harmonizing the policies, roles, and ways of working built independently across our brand ecosystem into a single, scalable, growth and M&A-ready function.
  • Lead and develop GMI's pillar leaders, building a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning across a globally distributed team.
  • Own GMI's vendor strategy evaluating, negotiating, and consolidating our immigration and relocation vendor relationships to control cost and quality as the program scales.
  • Drive the process improvement and technology roadmap for GMI modernizing how cases move from intake through visa filing and relocation so mobility and immigration run with greater efficiency and a more seamless experience as volume grows.
  • Serve as the final escalation point for high-risk or cross-functional mobility and immigration issues, and as a trusted advisor to Legal, Talent Acquisition, People Business Partners, and senior leadership - positioning GMI as a strategic partner to the business.
We're excited about you because...
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in global mobility and/or immigration, including several years leading teams and owning strategy across multiple jurisdictions ideally spanning the US, EMEA, and APAC.
  • A track record of building or scaling a global mobility/immigration function or operating model within a multinational, fast-paced environment, including developing and leading people leaders to build long-term organizational capability.
  • Strong cross-cultural fluency and change management experience, leading globally distributed teams and driving alignment across regions and brands.
  • Experience acting as a trusted strategic partner to senior stakeholders and cross-functional leaders including Legal, Talent Acquisition, and People Business Partners with sound judgment on high-risk, cross-functional escalations and the ability to translate ambiguity into clear priorities.
  • Curiosity about applying new tools, including AI, to improve efficiency, insights, and the employee experience within a global mobility and immigration function.
