Job Description

The Director of Global Media Procurement & Partnerships leads the delivery of transformational sourcing across the strategic business portfolio associated with Global Media and Media Partnerships category spend areas. The position reports to the Executive Director of Marketing Services. In alignment with identified business and stakeholder priorities, the Director will drive the development of transformational procurement strategies, global category management, stakeholder management, contract management, risk management and supplier value management within the identified category areas.

The incumbent will develop and maintain strong relationships with key global business leaders in the stakeholder community and other corporate functions, while collaborating closely with global sourcing and procurement colleagues to drive strategic business priorities. This role will also need to lead and drive the execution of key Fortify initiatives identified in this area, communicate progress of execution to Senior VP Procurement, HH, Global Comms and continue to identify breakthrough steps to bring Fortify initiative to a strategic level of the organization.

As our organization is moving to a One Global Indirect organization, this role will also have the responsibility to build the new Global Media and Partnerships team and fully manage end to end globally the Media category, while preparing transition of other categories from local management to a regional/global one.

Primary activities include, but are not limited to:
  • Leadership - As a key leader, responsible to develop then implement sourcing strategy and ensure alignment, compliance and delivery of required business performance while leading and leveraging the Supply Strategy Council (SSC) framework, inclusive of Fortify journey
  • Procurement Leadership - Provide the leadership, strategy and policy for the function building a high performance engagement model with the business and regions.
  • Organizational Development - Support the development of a core team of high quality procurement professionals who have direct responsibility for sourcing and projects, as the role interacts across the matrix procurement organization.
  • Process - Realize sourcing management, supplier value management, risk management, supplier SAP as core sustainable processes and enablers of delivery.
  • Performance - Deliver ongoing savings as required, as well as meeting the stakeholder business requirements through successful implementation of transformational and strategic business initiatives.
  • Relationships - Build outstanding relationships with stakeholders which are oriented to meeting and exceeding their business needs.
  • Change Management - Adopt high quality change practices with customers and stakeholders, building and implementing an organization which is sustainable. Be a personal exemplar of our Company's Leadership Standards.
  • Global - Ensure that the approach adopted is aligned with and supports our Company's global procurement strategy and Global Category Management and Ways of Working.
  • Sourcing & Procurement - Serve as a leader and exemplar of Sourcing Management and Global Category Management as a member of the Marketing Services Sourcing & Procurement Leadership Team.
  • Inclusivity- Actively support, both within our Company as well as expanding relationships and spend with Suppliers.
  • Supplier Value Management - Implement Supplier Value Management with the key suppliers in this category to foster innovation, manage supplier performance, establish a Governance Model, and ensure continuous improvement.

Education: BS in Business, Finance, Marketing or related field strongly preferred. MBA or advanced degree and/or relevant certification is desirable.

Experience: 10 years experience in strategic sourcing (global category management) or related role. Marketing experience desirable. Experience in international business also desirable.

Skills: Knowledge of Procurement related business processes. Cultural awareness and sensitivity required. Demonstrates solid leadership capabilities at the Manager level, with particular strengths in collaboration, written and verbal communications, and cross-functional teamwork.

The salary range for this role is
$156,900.00 - $247,000.00

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs.

The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
