Full Job Description
The Director, FP&A Business Insights & Planning serves as a strategic partner and right hand to the VP of FP&A, responsible for consolidating enterprise financial data, generating actionable insights, and enabling leadership decision-making.

This role operates at the center of financial planning, performance analysis, and executive reporting-translating complex data into clear narratives, proactively identifying trends across the organization, and shaping the company's budgeting and forecasting processes.

The Director plays a critical role in preparing executive leadership and Board-level materials, ensuring alignment between financial performance, strategic priorities, and forward-looking plans.

The Director, FP&A Business Insights & Planning will play a critical role in shaping enterprise-wide financial strategy, performance visibility, and decision-making. This leadership position will partner closely with the VP of FP&A, Finance leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders to translate complex financial and operational data into actionable insights that support sustainable growth and long-term value creation. The successful candidate will bring strong analytical rigor, executive communication skills, and a collaborative approach to advancing a forward-looking FP&A function.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the consolidation and analysis of financial and operational data across business units, regions, and corporate functions, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for leadership consideration.
  • Partner with the VP of FP&A to lead annual budgeting, periodic forecasting, long-range planning, and scenario modeling processes.
  • Establish and enhance consistent KPI frameworks, performance dashboards, and reporting standards that connect financial results to underlying business drivers.
  • Develop executive-ready financial presentations and Board materials, translating performance data into clear, concise, and actionable narratives.
  • Serve as a trusted strategic partner to Finance leadership and cross-functional teams-including Commercial, Operations, R&D, Corporate Functions, and regional finance-on strategic initiatives, investments, and business cases.
  • Drive continuous improvement in FP&A processes, reporting cadence, automation, data quality, and scalability in partnership with Finance Transformation, Data, and IT teams.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; an MBA, CPA, or similar advanced credential is preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or related financial leadership roles.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, scenario analysis, and data-driven performance management.
  • Proven ability to synthesize complex financial and operational data into compelling insights for executive and Board-level audiences.
  • Experience operating successfully in a highly cross-functional, multi-region, or global business environment.
  • Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, executive communication, and stakeholder-influencing skills, with the ability to build alignment among senior leaders.
