POSITION OVERVIEW

Job Summary
The Director of Financial Systems & Transformation will be responsible for maintaining strong accounting systems and leading necessary transformation of our financial reporting processes. This individual will be part of multiple critical financial reporting processes including account and legal entity consolidations, maintenance, and creation of consistent reporting throughout the organization, and the reconciliation and validation of data between financial systems. This position will serve as a liaison between the Company's finance departments and IT to ensure complete and accurate financial information while complying with internal control standards. This role will require an understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), the workings of ERP systems, and internal controls within a Sarbanes-Oxley compliant organization.

Roles and Responsibilities
• Responsible for maintenance of the Company's general ledger for reporting purposes including the creation and maintenance of accounts, legal entities, locations, segments, combination groupings, cross validation rules, segments, etc.
• Assists Accounting leadership in developing and executing strategy to fully utilize ERP functionality.
• Reconciles and validates critical data between the Company's ERP and other financial reporting systems.
• Leads the creation of internal and external reports including monthly management reports, quarterly reports, and audit reports.
• Serves as a liaison between the Company's finance and IT departments.
• Identifies and pursues efficiencies through process enhancements or automated solutions and partners closely with a cross function of Company leaders, internal and external IT resources to implement change or creating efficiencies.
• Leads in the creation of consistent, standardized reports that can be utilized by accounting, finance, and financial reporting teams.
• Demonstrates strong critical thinking and issue resolution skills, especially issues impacting our financial systems and our close processes.
• Has a solid understanding of GAAP, intercompany eliminations, and consolidations.
• Generates ad-hoc reports and assists leadership with interpretation and analysis of trends and variances.
• Collaborates with other members of the accounting team to provide solution-oriented recommendations for the Finance Organization and Business at large.
• Effective as a manager of people, supervising a small staff to accomplish financial reporting team objectives.
• Complies with all laws, regulations and standards of ethical conduct.
• Maintains professional/technical competencies and proficiencies for job responsibilities.

Physical Requirements
Sitting, standing, bending, reaching, stretching, stooping, walking, and moving intermittently during working hours. Must be able to lift at least 20lbs. Must be able to maintain verbal and written communication with co-workers, supervisors, residents, family members, visitors, vendors, and all business associates outside of the health campus.
