Full Job Description
The Director of Finance SSC leads RBDC's Shared Services organization, with primary accountability for Accounts Receivable, collections, and transactional finance operations across the US and Canada Distribution Companies. This senior leader is responsible for delivering world-class back-office service to the distribution network while driving automation, control, and scalability across the function.

The role partners closely with the RBDC Leadership Team, RBNA Key Accounts, field operations, key customers and vendors, Red Bull HQ, IT, Accounting, and technical teams. The Director ensures the SSC operates as a strategic enabler of growth - combining operational excellence, financial discipline, and modern technology to support a viable and sustainable business.

  • LEADING RBDC SHARED SERVICES ORGANIZATION
    Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing, engaged SSC team aligned with the Red Bull Leadership Code
    Build a culture of focus, accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement across the function
    Lead the end-to-end Accounts Receivable function, including cash application, deductions, collections, and credit oversight
    Provide strategic support to RBCD (Canada)
    Evaluate, recommend, and implement strong internal controls for RBDC
    Assist finance HQ and accounting team with monthly close process and financial reporting
    Own SSC service levels through clear KPIs, SLAs, and governance routines with internal stakeholders
    Establish robust A/R reporting and lead overall process improvements
    Work with accounting manager and team to ensure timely and accurate reporting of results
    Manage relationships with RBNA Key Account teams
    Lead strategic RBDC projects, including process automation, system migrations, and capability builds
    Partner with the RBDC Call Center on initiatives that improve the end-to-end customer and field experience
  • BACK-OFFICE SERVICE DELIVERY & OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE
    Deliver world-class service to all Red Bull stakeholders measured through quality, KPI's, and efficiency
    Embed a strong internal and external customer-service culture across the SSC
    Support the monthly close, financial reporting, and audit processes in partnership with HQ Finance and Accounting
    Partner cross-functionally with Operations and Sales to drive transactional accuracy, working-capital improvement, and order-to-cash efficiency
    Work with the Director of Finance & Controlling to ensure integrity of master data, reporting, and analytics
    Drive adoption of modern B2B payment capabilities to accelerate cash conversion, reduce cost and admin effort
    Manage software vendors and technical partners to drive system stability, roadmap delivery, and platform enhancements
    Drive adoption of AI technology and agentic solutions to help with the increasing OTC complexity
    Support new launches and expansions as needed
    Perform ad hoc reporting as needed

EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting from an accredited college or university
  • 7+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience, preferably in CPG, DSD, beverage, or distribution environments
  • 4+ years of people leadership experience with a proven track record of building and developing high-performing teams
  • Hands-on experience leading Accounts Receivable, collections, and order-to-cash at scale
  • Experience with High Radius or comparable AR/collections platforms; familiarity with major ERPs (SAP preferred)
  • Demonstrated experience deploying RPA, agentic AI, and process-automation tools in a finance environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and modern collaboration tools (Teams, SharePoint, Power BI, Copilot)
  • Comfort managing large data sets and translating them into clear business insights
  • Proven ability to independently manage complex projects and deliver results on time and to quality
  • Strong communication skills - able to present financial issues persuasively to senior, non-finance audiences
  • Strong analytical, leadership, interpersonal, and customer-service skills
  • Preferred education qualifications: CPA or MBA
  • Familiarity with SAP, BI, High Radius is a plus
  • Familiarity with Snowflake
  • Familiarity with advanced data analytics tools and RPA
