The Director of Finance willsupport our Behavioral Health facilities with financial operations, including financial planning, budgeting, reporting, activities and resources to ensure alignment with the mission, values, and objectives of the department and organization.

How you'll contribute

A Director of Finance who excels in this role:
  • Develops and implements departmental goals, plans, and standards consistent with the clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization.
  • Directs and evaluates departmental operations, including patient care delivery, information technologies, service level determination, and complaint management, to achieve performance and quality control objectives.
  • Plans and monitors of staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives.
  • Managing the work of others, including planning, assigning, scheduling and reviewing work, ensures quality standards.
  • Responsible for hiring, terminating, training and developing, reviewing performance and administering corrective action for staff.
  • Prepares, monitors, and evaluates departmental budgets, and ensures that the department operates in compliance with allocated funding.
  • Coordinates and directs internal/external audits.
  • Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.
  • Ensures department stays focused on their important role in the continuum of care.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Perform other duties assigned

What we're looking for
Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business or Accounting required with 7 yrs of finance or accounting experience/ healthcare experience preferred with a strong background in financial budgeting , problem solving and proven leadership
