About the role:As a Director, Federal APX Project Development you will be the commercial contact with senior government officials, regulators, and customers in the US State and Federal Government. You will lead the efforts to improve business growth, build relationships with leaders that promote early identification of customer needs and insight into competitor activities and delivers customer satisfaction and value to all our APX Products. You will report to the VP APX Project Development - North America. 100% Remote Role.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement customer-based sales strategies, provides critical insight into buying influences, critical relationships, pricing strategies, and overall commercial engagement.
- Identify business growth opportunities and facilitate the business development, collaborate with APX delivery teams to capture, and deliver APX products to customers, from the business development phase to the final invoice.
- Update sales plans associated with customer base in D365 including status of opportunities, order status, and documentation of customer engagements.
- Collaborate with the Global Markets team to support the voice of customer and identification of customer needs.
- Foster and strengthen executive customer relationships and government, regulatory and public/media interfaces.
- Represent us in industrial and nuclear organizations to improve visibility and to demonstrate "One Westinghouse" strategy.
- Provide leadership and communicate and implement WEC policy and procedures (when applicable), training, regulatory and customer compliance, document management and systems maintenance, and information technology processes.
- Approve proposals and contracts with customers, suppliers and other organizations observing our guidelines
- Help develop APX mid and long-term business plans and implement new business strategies
- Foster senior customer relationships and be a trusted and valued business advisor to the customer.
- Communicate customer information about strategic intent and planned expenditures, along with competitor intelligence, to provide market and product intelligence to Growth Leaders and Product Managers.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 10+ years' experience in Nuclear or Energy Industry
- Knowledge of nuclear utility industry and regulatory environment.
- Knowledge of global marketing principles and industry practices, strategic planning processes, negotiation approaches, commercial terms and conditions and contract administration.
- Knowledge of Government State and Federal Customer work process and its internal cultures.
- Understanding of business planning and processes.
We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $162,000 to $202,500 per year. In addition to the base pay, this role may be eligible for incentive pay based on company and individual performance.
