Job Title: Director of Engineering

Division: L'Oreal Operations

Location: North Little Rock, AR

Reports To: VP, Manufacturing

What You Will Do:

Direct and manage all activities of the Engineering Department in a manner that insures the safe and efficient conduct of facilities maintenance activities; efficient project management activities; construction management; and cost management.

What We Are Looking For:

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Chemical Engineering preferred, MBA desirable
  • Five to eight years' experience in major engineering activities, including areas such as manufacturing or project engineering, construction management, governmental liaison, regulatory compliance, sub-contract management, etc. while acting in a supervisory capacity

General Job Duties:
  • Direct and manage facilities engineering and maintenance activities
  • Prepare, analyze and justify applicable capital projects
  • Direct and supervisor efficient, cost effective project managements
  • Direct and act as Company manager for construction projects
  • Where applicable, act as a community relations representative or spokesperson for L'Oreal USA
  • Maintain an effective employee/labor relations environment
  • Manage in conformance with "Good Manufacturing Practices" (GMP)
  • Supervisor all subordinate personnel
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Manage and implement all L'Oreal USA policies, including, but not limited to, the Corporation's Equal Employment Opportunity policy
  • Perform other duties as necessary and required
