Job Description Summary:

ModMed is hiring a driven Director, ERP & Accounting Platforms. In this role, you will provide high-level and hands-on leadership for the modernization and unification of our ERP and financial technology ecosystems across the entire enterprise. This is a critical role responsible for ensuring that technology, data, and business strategy are aligned to scale operational efficiency, compliance, and insight generation, with a primary focus on driving ourOracle Fusion ERP strategy.

Your Role:
You will be accountable for transitioning the organization from feature-driven systems to data domain-based, composable platforms. Your primary duties will include:
  • Oracle Fusion ERP Implementation & Strategy:Leading the vision, strategy, and hands-on rollout of Oracle Fusion ERP, specifically tailored to empower our Accounting and Finance teams.
  • Accounting Team Collaboration:Working side-by-side with the Corporate Controller, Accounting leadership, and day-to-day accounting users. You will act as the vital bridge translating complex accounting workflows and business processes into scalable Oracle Fusion solutions.
  • Implementation Partner & Managed Services Leadership:Directing external implementation partners (Systems Integrators) to ensure successful, on-time, and on-budget delivery. Overseeing managed services providers to ensure seamless post-go-live support, SLA adherence, and continuous system optimization.
  • Financial Intelligence & Data Domain Leadership: Serve as the business technology owner for Finance and Accounting data domains, driving the evolution from transactional ERP systems to intelligence-driven financial operations. Lead the design of trusted financial data products, governance frameworks, AI-enabled automation, and enterprise intelligence capabilities that support forecasting, operational performance, compliance, and strategic decision-making across the organization.
  • AI, Agentic Automation & Digital Workforce: Lead the adoption of AI-powered finance operations, including intelligent workflows, digital workers, and agentic automation across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Revenue Recognition, Financial Close, Audit, and Compliance processes.
  • Operational Excellence:Ensuring the cohesive operation of ERP, billing, tax, and FP&A platforms while actively managing complex, multi-vendor environments.
  • Automation and AI Enablement: Driving the adoption of AI-assisted finance automation and next-generation data domains.
  • Leadership and Collaboration:Leading a passionate, high-performing team of ~20 Modernizers (both direct and indirect), while effectively blending internal talent with external managed services.

What You Will Solve:

This role solves complex problems involving system integration, compliance automation, and financial data quality within a modern ERP environment. You will be tasked with developing innovative, data-first architectural approaches that scale globally.
  • Enterprise Financial Intelligence: Build the foundation for a Finance Intelligence Platform that delivers trusted, real-time visibility into revenue, profitability, cash flow, forecasting, and operational performance.
  • Innovation:Responsible for maximizing the capabilities of Oracle Fusion Financials, introducing composable ERP models, implementing AI-assisted finance automation, and transforming financial system design.
  • Judgment and Decision Making:You will hold final authority for Oracle ERP architecture, roadmap prioritization, and platform investments. You will also provide strategic recommendations regarding implementation partner selection, statement of work (SOW) negotiations, and managed services utilization to the VP Digital Business, CFO, and executive leadership.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:
  • Education:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Overall IT/Business Systems Experience: 12-15+ years of progressive experience in ERP, financial systems, and business technology. Expertise in IT governance, SaaS management, and digital transformation. Proven success in leading enterprise-level financial IT initiatives.
  • ERP Implementation: 5+ years of experience leading complex ERP rollouts, including at least 1 or 2 full-lifecycle implementations of Oracle Fusion.
  • Leadership & Vendor Management: 5+ years of experience managing technical teams, as well as proven experience managing implementation partners (SIs) and external managed service providers.
  • Accounting/Finance Partnership: 5+ years of experience working directly with Accounting and Finance teams, with hands-on exposure to configuring systems for complex accounting workflows (Revenue Recognition, Month-End Close, Invoicing).
  • Oracle Fusion Expertise:Proven, hands-on experience leading end-to-end Oracle Fusion ERP implementations, with a strict focus on core Accounting and Financial modules (e.g., GL, AP, AR, FA, Cash Management).
  • Location: This position is based in our Boca Raton, Florida location.

  • Certifications:Oracle Cloud Financials certifications or relevant project management (PMP/Agile) certifications.
