This role plays a critical part in establishing the Enterprise Transformation Office (ETO), enabling rapid innovation, and ensuring consistent, coordinated, and high-quality communication across the client lifecycle.

The Director establishes the governance and operating discipline required to scale-defining cross-functional processes, aligning stakeholders, and driving accountability across the organization. Operating in a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves capacity, this individual drives execution through influence, building alignment, surfacing risks, and delivering results across teams.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. End-to-End Launch Execution (Concept 12 GA)
  • Lead execution of solution launches from concept through GA and early stabilization, ensuring alignment to business and client outcomes
  • Establish ownership, timelines, and deliverables across cross-functional teams, including downstream implementation and support readiness
  • Design and manage beta and early release programs to validate readiness, capture feedback, and ensure successful transition to scale
  • Ensure all-company readiness and post-launch execution alignment, aligning Sales, Marketing, Client Relations, Support, and Professional Services to deliver consistent implementation, adoption, support, and operational follow-through

2. Launch Governance & Accountability
  • Define and enforce a standardized, phase-gated launch framework (tollgates, entry/exit criteria, success measures)
  • Track progress, identify risks, and drive accountability to maintain momentum, resolving cross-functional dependencies and execution tradeoffs
  • Align with enterprise prioritization, SDLC, and DevOps release schedules; maintain visibility through ADO, Aha!, or similar tools

3. Client Lifecycle & Go-to-Market Communication Coordination
  • Drive cross-functional alignment on communication strategy, timing, and delivery ensuring a cohesive client experience across the lifecycle
  • Coordinate go-to-market, launch, and ongoing client communication across Marketing, Solution Management, Engineering/DevOps, and Client Relations
  • Establish and enforce standardized communication practices and coordination points across the lifecycle, reducing fragmentation and ensuring consistency across teams

4. Data, Metrics & Performance Visibility
  • Partner with Solution Management and data teams to advance and evolve client-facing reporting and analytics capabilities, ensuring alignment to market needs and strategic differentiation
  • Define and track KPIs for launch success and client impact (e.g., on-time GA, adoption, quality, measurable outcomes)
  • Develop reporting to provide visibility into launch readiness, execution risks, post-launch performance, and ongoing solution value

5. Innovation & Rapid Proof of Concept (POC) Enablement
  • Establish and lead a lean, cross-functional POC capability to rapidly test new concepts and opportunities
  • Define intake, prioritization, and success criteria to support rapid experimentation, informed go/no-go decisions
  • Transition validated POCs into the formal launch pipeline for scaled delivery under established launch governance

6. Enterprise Transformation Office (ETO) Activation
  • Stand up Innovation & Launch capability, including governance, tollgates, and readiness model
  • Lead enterprise project coordination for priority initiatives, aligning to ETO governance (in partnership with leadership)
  • Establish cross-functional operating rhythms, including execution cadences, escalation paths, and stakeholder alignment
  • Support the development of the broader ETO model, informing structure, role design, and scaling approach over time
  • May lead or coordinate adjacent ETO capabilities (e.g., enterprise project management and cross-functional execution) until dedicated roles are established, ensuring aligned execution and continuity of priority initiatives

7. Continuous Improvement & Capability Build
  • Standardize launch and innovation practices across solutions to reduce variability and improve predictability, release velocity, and scalability across the organization
  • Evolve the Enterprise Launch & Innovation function to support SSI's growth and strategic priorities
