Job Description

The Director of Enrollment of Boston University School of Theology is primarily responsible for the oversight of all recruitment to the degree programs of the institution.

Responsibilities include:

  • Marketing the School of Theology to prospective students; directing Enrollment Office staff recruitment travel, coordinating the Enrollment Office staff to respond in a timely manner to inquiries and concerns of prospective students.
  • Working with the Academic Dean and Admissions Committee to make decisions on incoming students for each fall and spring class.
  • Collaborating with Online and Hybrid Programs Director and Communications Director to market and recruit for STH online/hybrid Programs.
  • Overseeing housing opportunities for prospective students, including working the Enrollment Officer to select student program coordinators for intentional community housing and to coordinate programming.
  • Planning and executing fall and spring Orientation events with the help of an Orientation Team.
  • Working under the supervision of and in close collaboration with the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, manage the school's scholarship budget, including monitoring expenditures, tracking award commitments, and ensuring responsible stewardship of institutional financial aid resources.
