Full Job Description
The Director, Emergency Services manages unit productivity by daily review of productivity and providing variance explanations and takes appropriate action to adjust to fluctuation in census by flexing when appropriate. The Director monitors department budget and implement cost containment strategies as needed and ensures department staffing is balanced and the schedule is completed based upon the needs of the department; attendance and punctuality is addressed with staff. The Director implements appropriate action for quality of care concerns, staff concerns, patient; physician complaints and department concerns; keeps abreast of clinical and regulatory changes; Qualifications, information is shared with staff.

Qualifications:
  1. 5+ years' previous responsible experience, which included at least three years of experience in a supervisory or administrative capacity with increasing management skill set and responsibility. Demonstrates solid managerial, administrative, scheduling, planning and budgeting skills.
  2. Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university. Masters in Nursing Degree preferred.
  3. Current CA RN License
  4. Current BLS, ACLS, PALS.
  5. MAB/CPI required within 60 days from hire date.
