Job Description

Director, E-Commerce Operations – Sleep and Respiratory Care

Director of E-commerce Operations manages the entire online sales ecosystem, focusing on strategy, platform management, digital marketing, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to drive online revenue and customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include overseeing website development, optimizing user experience (UX), managing digital campaigns, controlling inventory/logistics, analyzing KPIs, and integrating tech (like ERP/WMS) with marketing, IT, and supply chain for seamless operations from browse to fulfillment.

Your role:

  • Strategy & Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive e-commerce strategies, set goals, analyze trends, and explore new sales channels (marketplaces, social commerce).
  • Platform Management: Oversee the e-commerce platform (website, mobile), ensuring functionality, performance, and seamless integration with other systems and technical integrations (ERP, CRM, ERP, WMS).
  • Digital Marketing: Implement strategies to increase traffic, conversion rates, and customer engagement through SEO, SEM, email, social media, and content marketing.
  • Operations & Fulfillment: Manage day-to-day operations, including order processing, inventory management, logistics, and third-party (3PL) relationships.
  • Data & Analytics: Monitor KPIs, analyze performance data (traffic, conversion, AOV), and use insights to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Customer Experience (CX): Continuously enhance the customer journey, from browsing to checkout, ensuring a seamless, personalized, and satisfying experience.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, IT, Product, Supply Chain, and Customer Service to align digital efforts with overall business goals.
  • Technology & Innovation: Evaluate and implement new technologies (AI, personalization, new sales channels) to stay competitive.

You're the right fit if:

  • 8+ years of experience with Bachelor's OR Minimum 6 years of experience with Master's in areas such as Sales Strategy, Business Development, E-commerce, Sales Operations, Marketing technology, Healthcare, MedTech or equivalent.
  • Experience driving E-Commerce Strategy, building or scaling e‑commerce in large, complex organizations
  • Well versed with Go-to-market planning, segmentation and targeting
  • Proven e‑commerce / digital commerce leadership
  • Experience working in regulated industries
  • Familiarity with healthcare or medtech is helpful

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

This is a field role

The pay range for this position is $145,000 to $290,000

The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.   

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.  Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more.  Details about our benefits can be found .
