Job Summary

DIRECTOR OF DINING SERVICES - Pacific Palisades Charter School, Pacific Palisades, CA

As the Director of Dining Services, you will lead all aspects of a high-profile dining program serving approximately 2,300 students at Pacific Palisades Charter School. This role oversees a team of nine Chartwells associates and is responsible for delivering operational excellence, fostering a positive team culture, and ensuring an exceptional dining experience for students and staff. The successful candidate will be a hands-on leader who can effectively manage daily operations while maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.

This position is ideal for a self-motivated, forward-thinking professional who thrives on bringing new ideas and innovation to the dining program. Working closely with school leadership as a trusted liaison, you will identify opportunities for growth, implement creative solutions, and continuously move the program forward. Through strong leadership, collaboration, and a passion for excellence, you will play a key role in enhancing the overall success of the food service operation.

Key Responsibilities:

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in Nutrition/Management/Hospitality/Culinary preferred or equivalent experience preferred.**
  • Three (3) plus years of foodservice management experience.
  • Previous P&L accountability or contract-managed services experience.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in computer skills.
