About the Role

XiFin is seeking a strategic and results-oriented Director or Sr. Director, Customer Financial Operations to lead and evolve the functions that drive revenue performance and customer financial health across our enterprise customer portfolio. Reporting at a leadership level, this role serves as a critical bridge between customers, sales, finance, and operations to ensure scalable, efficient, and customer-centric revenue processes.

The Director will oversee billing, collections, deal desk, and revenue operations activities while partnering with some of the largest healthcare and SaaS organizations in the industry. Beyond operational execution, this leader will identify opportunities to improve cash flow, accelerate revenue realization, strengthen pricing and contract governance, and enhance the overall customer experience throughout the revenue lifecycle.

Success in this role requires a blend of commercial acumen, customer relationship management and analytical expertise. The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader who can influence executive stakeholders, leverage data to drive decisions, and deliver measurable business outcomes in a complex and evolving environment.

How you will make an impact:

Customer Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client executives regarding financial issues.
  • Address and resolve escalated billing and collections inquiries balancing financial outcomes and customer experience.

Revenue Cycle Optimization
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize the billing and collections processes, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and payment collection.
  • Collaborate with the finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate revenue recognition and reporting.

Reporting and Analysis
  • Track operational metrics, evaluate deal trends, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior leadership.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and implement action plans based on data-driven insights.

Leadership
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the billing and collections teams, fostering a high-performance culture including hiring, training, and professional development.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills and efficiency.

Skills and experience you have:

You don't need to check every box. We will consider a combination of education and experience, including:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 7+ years in financial operations, billing management, or deal management, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
  • Advance spreadsheet modeling, experience with complex multiple element contracts, and exceptional problem-solving skills to explain complex billing terms to clients and stakeholders.
  • Experience with CRM and billing and collections software and systems; proficiency in Salesforce and NetSuite is a plus.

Pay Transparency

At XiFin, we believe in pay transparency and fairness. The expected annual salary range for this role is: $135,000 - $170,000, plus applicable bonus.

Final compensation will be determined during the selection process and may vary based on experience, skills, and geographic location.
