Position Overview:

The Director, Corporate Partnerships is a hunter-focused B2B sales leader responsible for driving new business revenue. This role is expected to proactively prospect, develop, and close new business opportunities with HR departments and HR decision-makers across Fortune 1000, enterprise, and mid-market organizations. The position sells the full HRCI portfolio of certification, learning, and talent development products and services to CHROs, VPs of HR, and other HR and Talent leaders, and is accountable for achieving revenue and pipeline targets through outbound prospecting, consultative selling, and relationship development.

Enterprise Business Development & New Client Acquisition

  • Develop and execute account acquisition strategies to secure new business revenue.
  • Identify, prospect, and engage HR decision-makers-including CHROs, VPs of HR, and Talent Development/L&D leaders-within Fortune 1000, enterprise, and mid-market organizations.
  • Generate qualified opportunities through outbound prospecting, referrals, networking, conferences, and strategic outreach.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline capable of achieving annual revenue goals.


Revenue Generation & Sales Execution

  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through contract execution and handoff.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed revenue, pipeline, and new client acquisition goals.
  • Present and sell the full HRCI portfolio of certifications, learning solutions, and enterprise offerings, tailored to the priorities of HR and Talent leaders.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and CRM reporting.


Client Relationship Management

  • Build trusted advisor relationships with CHROs, HR executives, and Talent Development leaders.
  • Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
  • Partner with customer success and marketing teams to maximize growth and retention.


The Skills You Need to Succeed:

  • 8+ years of progressive enterprise B2B sales or business development experience, required.
  • Proven success sourcing and closing new business through outbound prospecting.
  • Demonstrated record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and revenue targets.
  • Experience selling into Fortune 1000 or complex enterprise environments, ideally selling HR, talent management, learning & development, or certification/credentialing solutions.
  • HR industry knowledge, HRCI/SHRM certification, or experience selling to HR buyers, strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated hunter mentality with strong new-business focus.
  • Strong executive presence and consultative selling skills.
  • Flexibility and attention to detail, must be able to manage multiple projects and navigate changing priorities while maintaining excellent work.
  • Agile; ability to move quickly and collaborate across teams and roles to get things done.
  • Understanding of the HR function and the priorities of HR buyers (talent acquisition, workforce development, compliance, and professional certification) strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree, required; Master's degree, highly desirable


Salary range: $125,000 - 150,000/year; Compensation is based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, internal equity, geographic location and potential incentive bonus plan.
